The main thrust of any workshop is towards, breaking down any kind of barriers, that may exist within an employee, so that these barriers do not end up becoming the "fence" in his relationships with co-workers, both vertically and laterally. Such fences do not allow an employee to relish the 'joy of working'. Any human relationship is accounted for by the emotional strength it has .. within and outside.

It is this strength that our workshops aims to release while giving them the direction that is best suited for the employee vis-a-vis, his profile. Thus giving the Corporate an employee, who is energized and refreshed because he/she has broken the barriers around him/her.

Our Creative Workshops are aimed at Human Resource Development through the use of an effective combination of creative tools.

Creativity is the most effective tool, by far, for Human Resource Development in Corporate organizations, as is aptly recognized and acknowledged, the world over. Introducing the workforce (the most important resource for any Corporate organization) to Creative Thinking can do wonders for the organization's productivity and growth.

To enable participants to think and act beyond boundaries - our workshops are conducted in an environment which is nestling in the foothills of Aravali Hills on the edge of Damdama Lake and just 25 minutes drive from Gurgaon.

The 30 acre green park is an ideal facility for these workshops that use an effective combination of creative tools like poetry, photography, painting, theatre, music, dance and other art forms to help the participants.

Further, in a workshop where we are trying to understand a creative process, we are very flexible about conducting the workshop. While the expected durations are defined for each workshop - we retain the option of extending the duration in line with the flow and participants involvement during the workshops.

The ideal group size for any workshop is 20 with participants coming in from similar profiles / backgrounds or experience within the organisation.

Most of our workshops involve group activities that are conducted in the quiet and open environments of our Resort.

The grind and stress of daily routine often results in losing touch with one's "self". The proposed workshop module is an attempt to help the participants discover and connect with their inner self so that they are able to break free from pretences and playacting.

The purpose of this workshop is to understand the self and finding comfort with it through the medium of acting. Acting as an art makes it inevitable for the self to discover the other - egos, perceptions, view points, personalities, motivations, idiosyncrasies, mannerisms, etc. Thus enhancing the participants' understanding of the human psyche and in the process making them more empathetic and sensitive towards others around them. The idea in this module is to throw this understanding back, like a boomerang, at the participant to understand the self and thus discover a greater self.

Each one of us has infinite creative potential. We were born with it, and it continuously feeds the child in us. In playing our many parts as a human being - with our life, our world, as our stage- we manage to create obstacles for ourselves rather than using creativity to overcome obstacles. Theatre techniques for transforming Self are as old as humanity itself.

The purpose of this workshop is to explore group dynamics and foster team building and teamwork through the medium of acting. Acting, unless we are presenting a mono act, is seldom an isolated activity. Theatre most of the times involves staging a collective act. Thus it becomes imperative on the participants to coordinate among themselves, develop an understanding that while each performs individually, their efforts dovetail into each other thus resulting into a well-knitted collective performance .

Theatre is omnipresent. Life is all about slipping into different roles and facing various situations tactfully. There is an actor hidden in each of us that is able to do so with ease. The need, therefore, is to discover this actor within.

Theatre is seen as an extremely effective medium to inspire creative and innovative thinking in individuals / professionals. Theatre enables them to break free from the conventionality and monotony in work patterns. Further, role-play in theatre ensures greater sense of empathy and sensitivity towards other point of views. Thereby helping in getting across the barriers of conflicting egos, personalities, attitudes and mindsets. Theatre, it may thus be concluded, inspires, develops and sustains creativity and out-of-the-box thinking in individuals. Hence, empowering them with a deeper understanding of the human psyche that helps them approach and deal with life situations with a new-found confidence. The excitement and fun that theatre entails is an excellent refresher for their frayed nerves in addition to the creative satisfaction it provides.

The purpose of this workshop is to unlock the actor within. Acting besides writing fiction is perhaps the only other art where one needs to transcend the concept of self and discover the other - egos, perceptions, view points, personalities, motivations, idiosyncrasies, mannerisms, etc. The art becomes a medium where we are able to suppress the self, shift focus from it, and concentrate on what we are not. Thus enhancing our understanding of the human psyche and in the process making us more empathetic and sensitive towards others around us. The idea is to discover the actor within or multiple selves. Many may term this as role-playing but it is indeed, going beyond simple role-playing. We are not simply slipping into a role; we become the other human that we are not.

India's economy, telecommunication, dependence on technology and many social facets are constantly changing and hence is the relationship between men and women. Before the feminist movement, most men and women had very different relationships from those of today. Feminism has immensely influenced men and women relationship at workplace. The battle of the genders still rages in the minds of many.

The super-women went out to compete in a man's world and with man's definition of success. Men responded with anger that resulted into an ongoing tug of war between men and women. The fallout was physical abuse, domestic violence to control women and workplace sexual harassment. Hence, there is a need to establish a symbiotic relationship between man and woman through gender sensitivity.

Many organisations have understood the strategic implications of gender equality. However, if organisations are keen to utilize the talent of their workforce to the fullest extent, they need to be sensitive to gender related issues. In a broad sense, gender sensitivity means respect for an individual irrespective of her or his gender. It is not about pitting women against men. On the contrary, it involves greater awareness of the needs, aspirations, abilities and professional value of employees as men and women, without any prejudice about their gender.

A gender sensitive workplace creates the right condition for the fullest utilization of the human potential in an organizational setting.
